Ode to Joy – A Nation Performs - Tribute to Frontline Workers

As a tribute to Ireland’s frontline heroes, every adult and child in Ireland was invited to perform Ode to Joy (Óid don Lúcháire), the European Anthem, on their doorstep on Sunday June 21 2020, European Music Day. Music Generation South Dublin violin student, Jonny Wang, joined some of Ireland’s finest musicians and singers the iconic stage of the National Concert Hall to perform for the live streamed performance.

Programmes Postponed due to COVID-19 Schools Closures

Following the governments announcement of school closures from the 19th April 2020 all Music Generation South Dublin programmes (in primary, post primary, libraries, afterschool classes and community hubs) will not go ahead until schools reopen.
