We are delighted to announce that the recipient of the €1000 Annette Halpin Award 2017, funded and supported by Music Generation South Dublin, is 17 year old Domhnaill Corrigan!
Domhnaill is a rising composer and musician from the South Dublin County area and we are thrilled to support the growth and development of this young local artist.
Music Generation South Dublin supports the annual Annette Halpin Memorial Music Awards, along with The Halpin Family and South Dublin County Council. The aim of these awards is to support music education, music development and performance opportunities for young composers/musicians/vocalists living in the South Dublin County area.
Suburban Sounds Schools is an exciting 12 week, performance music programme aimed at post-primary students across the South Dublin County region. Sub Sounds is an out of school music education programme that is funded by Music Generation South Dublin. It is managed and delivered in a partnership between Alternative Entertainments and CONTACT Studio. CONTACT Studio is a South Dublin County Arts Office initiative.
