04/02/22: NOISE MUSIC, a music programme for young people offered by CONTACT Studio and Music Generation South Dublin is pleased to present a live Q&A hosted by Max Zanga on 22nd  of February and a series of free workshops in beat-making, producing, rapping, singing, DJing and performing from the 23rd – 25th of February at North Clondalkin Library. These events are free to attend and are open to anyone aged 14 - 18 with a love of music.

 

On Tuesday, 22nd February at 11am, Max Zanga from the hip-hop band Tebi Rex will host a live Q&A with some of Ireland's finest musicians, DJs and industry professionals currently working in Pop, Hip-Hop and Electronic music. These include songwriter and producer Gemma Dunleavy - singer/producer; MayKay - Fight Like Apes, Other Voices: Joel Safo - owner of JS Management, manager of the A92 Collective. This will be followed by a music production workshop at 2pm in North Clondalkin Library.

 

From 23rd to 25th February, a series of free workshops in beat-making, producing, rapping, singing, DJing and performing with some of Ireland's finest Pop, Hip Hop and Electronic musicians will take place from 11am to 4pm in North Clondalkin Library.

These free workshops provide an opportunity for creative young people to collaborate with professional musicians, create new music, learn new skills and meet other young people with similar interests.  I would like to thank all the artists, performers and Music Generation South Dublin for their time and for showing young people that careers in music and other creative sectors can be accessible to anyone and that there are many different paths you can take to a career doing something that you love.”
